If you have some spare time on your hands and want to help us find loving, lasting homes for dogs in need, then volunteering with us is the perfect way to do this. Please note that we do not have a physical shelter and all of our dogs are in foster homes. The volunteer roles that we have are outlined below, and specify if you will be interacting with dogs.
Being a casual volunteer is a great way to help if you have a couple of hours a week that you want to spend helping us from the comfort of your home. A casual volunteer involves doing things like making reference calls and doing virtual home visits for our foster and adoption applicants.
If you have a car and some free time, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you to help us help the dogs in our care. Transport foster dogs to the vet or to events, drive dogs from the airport to their foster home, or help pick up and/or drop off supplies.
Want to help out without having to commit too much time? Then an events volunteer is the best way to do this. Commitment is per event, and you can pick and choose as many or as little that fit your schedule. Events help us bring in donations to transport, feed and care for our dogs. We also welcome any ideas that you may have for an upcoming event.
We generally have about one event per month.
